Project Overview:

Lead Bobcat dealers across the US wanted rental department strategies to enter local markets with newly branded machines. The types of machines were new to dealers, but were widely accepted in the rental market.

Script provided three consultants to work with corporate project leaders.

Highlights:

We met with Bobcat dealer management teams and developed appropriate size rental fleets depending on the local market. It was important for corporate support to recognize the need for fleet financing for dealers. In the past they had only offered it for customers. We used the Script financial modeling tools to demonstrate projected ROI and established workflow processes to streamline service efforts. 


Compact machine salesmen were taught how to efficiently promote rental and engage with customers. Script International also wrote a 6 volume series of operations manuals for Bobcat, which they have incorporated into their dealer e-learning program.

 

 

Project Success:

The rental program was successfully implemented across North America. At the end of the project, Bobcat hired a Script senior consultant, continuing the corporate support for dealers that implemented the program.
